Here at Stratstone, powered by Pendragon, we’re excited to be embarking on a new and innovative partnership, and we’re looking for a motivational Aftersales Leader to play a key part in shaping our future as we move forwards with one of the most exciting automotive brands to ever hit the UK market.
BYD (Build Your Dreams) is a pioneer in new automotive technology. Having been first established in China in 1995, the brand has since trailblazed the way forwards for electric vehicle technology. Their revolutionary innovations include their Blade Battery and exclusive E-Platform 3.0 interface, both of which have helped their vehicles to achieve five-star Euro NCAP safety ratings, thanks to unrivalled intuitive systems. 2023 sees the launch of this incredible brand in the UK, and we’re looking for a visionary and innovative individual to help drive the new Stratstone and BYD partnership forwards.
Reporting in to the Head of Business, the Aftersales Leader will oversee aftersales operations at our dealership based in Birmingham.
As Aftersales Leader, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all warranty and repair work is carried out and adheres to manufacturer standards
- Maximising efficiency and profitability for the Service department through labour sales, parts and materials and constantly assessing against budget objectives
- Championing a great customer experience
- Ensuring your dealership is a Centre of Excellence for all best practices and processes
- Setting clear targets and KPIs for associates within your department and working to excel and over-achieve these targets, whilst making sure the team continuously give an outstanding customer experience
- Maintaining a safe working environment and that processes are followed that adhere to health and safety regulations
- Guaranteeing first-class levels of customer service to achieve a high CSI score for the department
Requirements to be successful in this position:
- Successfully lead or supervised within a service department or small workshop, constantly achieving and exceeding targets
- An exceptional engaging leadership style, always striving to get the best results out of your team
- Excellent knowledge of consumer and vehicle legislation
