An Exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Quality Control Technician to join the team at our Preparation Centre in Coventry. Working independently, you will be responsible for performing the final check – both mechanic and cosmetic, on a sample of vehicles, ensuring that the correct levels of repair meet our high Car Store standards.

Our state-of-the-art Prep Centre in Coventry covers 10 acres, with the highest quality equipment and plenty of opportunity to work on a wide variety of vehicles.

Your key day to day responsibilities will be, but not limited to;

• Following a set-criteria for carrying out a full inspection on recently prepped vehicles
• Reporting findings on mechanic and cosmetic repairs
• Logging all results on an internal digital data base
• Able to work independently and towards KPIs
• Set key measures around the quality standards for both mechanic and cosmetic departments

To be a success in this role you must possess the following skills and attributes;

• NVQ qualification – Level 3/4 or Equivalent
• Qualified MOT Tester – hold a MOT licence
• Highly experienced Vehicle Technician
• Experience in use of Diagnostic equipment
• Excellent communication skills
• Have an eye for detail on vehicle repairs
