Our brand new prep centre based at Chesterfield is due to open November 2022, so this is the perfect opportunity to start a fresh career in a new environment. Interviews will take place early to mid August.

As part of our energetic team, the role of the SMART Repair Technician is a key productive role in the prep centre process, you’ll play an important role within our Aftersales functions to help our customers feel well at home and receive an outstanding experience, as you give their beloved motor’s bodywork some well-deserved TLC in state-of-the-art workshops, using the latest tools and technology.

Duties

• Carry out all aspects of paint spraying on a wide range of vehicles, as well as minor body repair work
• Prepare paint spraying equipment and bodywork of the car
• Maintain and clean equipment, as well as storing the paints in the correct conditions
• Managing inventory of paints and equipment

Skills and experience

• Paint spraying/ panel beating experience within the automotive sector
• A full driving licence
