About the role
As Leadership Development Consultant, you’ll focus on providing engaging and impactful learning and development to a diverse range of roles across the organisation. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering courses, programmes and blended learning with a particular focus on management and leadership skills development.
Working closely with our businesses, you’ll deliver great learning experiences that meet identified learning outcomes through effective needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation, and will be able to tangibly demonstrate value and return on investment.
Specifically, you will:
- Be responsible for the design, delivery, and evaluation of behavioural and leadership skills training across our businesses and support functions
- Play a key role in our associates’ career progression, supporting the development of both leaders and non-leaders
- Be accountable for superb delivery and facilitation, ensuring participants are able to effectively transfer learning from the training environment into the workplace
- Work closely with business leaders to ensure learning solutions are appropriately embedded and associates continue to develop and learn
- Identify learning needs and work closely with other L&D team members to develop appropriate blended solutions incorporating webinar, micro, virtual and online learning
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders
About you:
- You will have extensive experience of providing internally- and externally-delivered learning and development to first line and middle managers
- You will have great facilitation, coaching and interpersonal skills and you will be comfortable communicating and working with all levels of leadership
- You are passionate about developing others and always looking to incorporate new ideas and technology to ensure your learning solutions are current, effective and engaging
- You will be organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to challenging deadlines
- You will have a strong commercial focus and it would be advantageous if you had previously held a management role in a retail or customer service environment
- This is a hybrid role, so you will be home-based with the flexibility to travel to meetings and deliver training at locations throughout the UK (c. 20%)
